"My dad moved into Bellara assisted living after struggling with health issues over the past year. He couldn’t live on his own any longer, but still wanted some independence. I looked at many communities & always came back to Bellara. The building is beautiful! The initial meetings with Gabby made me feel so comfortable, to then deciding to move him in & the patience that Cindy had with us was so appreciated. Jeff was great with the paperwork and answering any questions that I had. Once moved in, Nix and his staff have been incredible to work with. He gives my Dad so much encouragement & actually cares about his well being. He keeps in contact with me when necessary & even updates me when my Dad is making improvements on his everyday well being. Everyone there is just so welcoming! My Dad is thriving & making friends… it’s so great to see! Thank you Bellara staff…. You are all GREAT!!"

"It's been 30 days since my parents relocated from the east coast to Bellara and I couldn't be happier as I see them thrive. It's amazing how quickly they were able to adapt from living on their own to a community and the transition wouldn't have been as successful without the staff. The entire staff is AMAZING and they really are an extension of the family. Staff really believe in the best interests of the residents and take feedback and recommendations from those living there seriously. As a new community, residents have a good opportunity to help build and define the community culture. My mom is into all the activities and her days are quite "busy" (exercise classes, organized games, outdoor walking club) and she has met many new friends. All the community members welcome new folks with open arms and everyone sits with each other during meals (which are excellent). After the first week at Bellara, my parents said their experience was similar to being on a cruise. The apartments are 1st class. Washer and dryer in every unit! And while it's located near a major street near downtown Hayward, with the sound proofing, you would never know it was rush hour. Benefits of new construction! Dog park for those that have dogs and an enclosed courtyard that is ready for BBQs when the weather gets warmer."

"I wanted to share some positive feedback about my experience with Bellara. I moved my 90-year-old brother into their memory care wing on the very first day they opened. He had previously been in a larger facility in San Francisco and then a small group house before transitioning to Bellara. I'm happy to report that his experience at Bellara has been wonderful over the past 2 1/2 months. He has been thriving with all the daily activities which the staff makes it fun for the residents. The amenities are excellent, with a coffee bar during the day and a wine and beer bar in the evenings. I was particularly impressed with the movie theater and the overall quality of the facilities. While most other assisted living facilities offer similar services, I believe it's the people at Bellara who truly make it stand out. All staff members are both warm and caring, and I've been impressed with everyone from management to the chef (the food is great!) and all the care staff. I would give a shout out to individuals but I then have to name everyone we encountered. Overall, I'm very pleased with my brother's experience at Bellara and would highly recommend it."
"Cindy, Nix and the whole staff are wonder. They helped us through the whole transition of moving my mom and were supportive the whole time. Cindy went out of her way to text with me, providing me with resources for the move and helping make it happen swiftly. I am grateful to the whole team!"

"Bellara Senior Living is an incredible new addition to the community. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The building is stunning, with modern yet cozy decor that sets it apart from other senior living options. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail. The staff at Bellara are top-notch—always smiling, attentive, and ready to help. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to create a positive environment. The activities and amenities are impressive too, offering a perfect mix of fun, wellness, and social engagement. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, care, and community, Bellara is a must-see. They’ve truly set a new standard for senior living, and I’m excited to see how they continue to grow!"

"I moved into Bellara from a different senior community. Their previous community was wonderful, but my dad's dementia needs to require a move to get more support. He is now living in the "Generations" part of the Bellara community. In the week or so since he moved in, I have noticed that he is more engaged and showing more agency than I've seen in months. The staff are kind and encouraging. They are helping him to participate in activities to support his physical and cognitive needs. When he makes it clear that he wants to skip an activity or leave early, they are respectful in letting him make the call. But I really appreciate that they always invite him to join in and show him that his presence is wanted and enjoyed. And the move has helped my mom because she is no longer the primary caregiver. Knowing that my dad has support tailored to his specific needs has allowed her to be able to take care of herself. Emotionally, she seems so much steadier because she's not constantly stressed about how to make sure my dad gets the care he needs."
